EVERY END IS A NEW BEGINNING
And don’t forget, change is constant.
There are a lot of unknowns right now and the effects have already impacted many of us. During times of adversity, we must remember to stop and reflect on the bigger picture. Look at our current situations and note areas of improvement to plan what can be done NOW to create a more sustainable future.
I recently read a fascinating but simple passage reminding me of our ever-evolving transformation throughout life. And until we take a step back to revisit this fact, we will cause greater burdens on ourselves and others by trying to force things back to “normal.”
In the wise words of Caroline Myss: “let’s live fully in the present moment, knowing that no situation or person will be exactly the same tomorrow. As change does occur, we work to interpret it as a natural part of life and strive to flow with it, and not against it. Because trying to make things remain the same is useless, as well as impossible.”
If we’re able to reframe our societal perceptions regarding uncertainty and instead choose to remain optimistic, learn from past mistakes, and help others, then collectively we’ll be stronger and more adaptive to changing environments.
Per Tracy Lawrence, WE – along with time – must march on because:
“THE ONLY THING THAT STAYS THE SAME IS EVERYTHING CHANGES.”
